Sectional felling is needed when a tree cannot just be felled normally. A Tree Surgeon will climb the tree and whilst suspended by ropes and harness will operate a specialist chainsaw to fell the tree in sections.

The ability to perform such tasks well, denotes a good Tree Surgeon, as such hazards as greenhouses, cars, roads and passing traffic may be passing underneath, therefore it is only a highly skilled Tree Surgeon who can perform this type of work safely and without causing damage to other property.

Our family team consists of two fully qualified Tree Surgeons and a chainsaw operative/groundworker. We have over 22 combined years experience within the arboreal profession.

Frequently we work with other national companies where a job requires more than a three man team. We work closely with some long established companies and as they call on us when they need our expertise, we call on them for the extra manpower whenever it's needed !


Tree Surgeons: usually perform work high in the tree's canopy and this is a highly skilled profession, using a chainsaw whilst supported within the tree with ropes and harness allows tree surgeons to remove selective branches and limbs.

Chainsaw operatives/groundworkers: as the name suggests, work at ground level, using a chainsaw. Groundworkers also work closely with the surgeons to help maintain a controlled lowering of large tree limbs from heights or over obstacles.
